suffragette city

do i really want to get up early tuesday morning, to have enough time to get the kids ready for school, drop them off, go and find my [new] polling place, and then to rush to get to a full day of work? not so much.
but what i want even less is to not vote, and let others--many of whom have different ideals than i do--make the decision for me.
after all, it has only been 90 years that i have been allowed to do so.

Haha! We dropped off the kiddies at school (except for my little four-year-old shadow), grabbed my much needed cup of caffeine and drove on to our (new) polling place. Proud to say we voted. Now, we get to go to the local cake shop to redeem our free cupcakes.

Happy Voting, All!

Love that last photo! I wish I would have worn that when I voted yesterday.
